Sara Crewe, her father, The Captain, his right hand man, Pasko, Aljana, the African nanny and a multicultural cast of characters, are on an uplifting magical, musical adventure, set in Victorian London. Young Sara Crewe must face trouble head on when she is sent to a boarding school after her father disappears on a mission to Africa. Only her powers of imagination can win over the other students and can save her from the ire of Miss Minchin, the dour headmistress.
But, can she do it before her world comes crashing down?
Will she ever see her father again?
Filled with song and dance, and presented with Fiddlehead Theatre’s classic color and pageantry, this tale is the perfect family outing for this holiday season!
Book and lyrics by Brian Crawley. Music by Andrew Lippa, and based on the 1905 novel by Frances Hodgson Burnett.
